Food trucks are notorious for having lots of rivets and this one is no different. Hector and Frances asked Pinnacle Signs to design a snappy wrap for their new endeavor, Popn Taco food truck. Taking their design input, we quickly completed the design they liked and got to work printing. We used 3M 40C vinyl with 8508 gloss laminate

to keep the wrap cost within the budget. Large rivets like the ones on this food truck along with normal complex curves on the hood and side panel are challenging with a calendared vinyl. A few relief cuts to let the vinyl lay flat and the application of heat in the curves and on the rivets gets the vinyl soft enough to lay down evenly. We used 3M primer and tucked the vinyl into the curves and transitions to reduce the stress that causes vinyl to lift and bubble. Overall, the truck came out looking great and now Hector and Frances are ready to start serving the folks in Colorado Springs.  If you have large truck or trailer you would like to make stand out in a crowd, call Pinnacle Signs and Graphics and we can fix you right up.
